Vee Hauntley is a young vampire from Vampirina: Teenage Vampire who moves to the United States and starts a new life at an arts school, pursuing her dream of becoming a pop star while learning more about her powers and abilities. The character is played by Kenzi Richardson.
Throughout the series, Vee experiences different situations that reveal her supernatural abilities. In this guide, we cover the powers and abilities she demonstrates throughout the story, with examples from the episodes and the moments in which they appear.
Vee Hauntley: Powers and Abilities
Mind Control and Hypnosis
Vee has the ability to control other people’s minds using a form of hypnosis.
In Episode 1, Vee uses this power on her father, Boris Hauntley, to make him calmly accept that she is going to attend school in the United States. She tells him: “I’m going to school in the United States and you’re going to accept it calmly.”
After successfully controlling Boris’s mind, Vee celebrates: “That’s right! Put your face in the sun, I totally vampired you!”
Vee also uses her power accidentally when her abilities go into overdrive. During a magic performance, she unintentionally hypnotizes Sophie.
Vampire Fangs
As a vampire, Vee has vampire fangs, which are part of her supernatural characteristics. Like her eyes, which sometimes turn purple when her powers are activated, her fangs can also become visible in specific situations.
Her fangs first appear in Episode 1, when Vee becomes nervous. The series shows that this reaction can cause her fangs to become visible, similar to what happens during some of her power surges.
Telekinesis
Vee demonstrates telekinesis, using this power to push or move other people without touching them.
In one scene, she uses the ability to push Demi out of the bedroom.
In Episode 16, Vee also uses her telekinesis to push Elijah away from her and Lucien. Immediately afterward, she uses Niquilita to stop Lucien. Elijah puts the mask on Vee to prevent her from inhaling the Niquilita.
Super Speed
Vee also has super speed, allowing her to perform actions much faster than a normal person.
In Episode 2, she uses her speed to quickly clean her bedroom, which she shares with Sophie.
Later in the same episode, Vee uses her super speed to catch a suit of armor and prevent it from falling on Britney Hightower.
These scenes show that Vee’s speed is not only useful for moving quickly, but also allows her to react and perform actions in a very short amount of time.
Levitation
Vee has the ability to levitate, remaining suspended in the air without physical support.
In Episode 1, during an argument with Demi, Vee begins to levitate. Sophie appears during the situation and realizes that Vee is a vampire.
Super Strength
Vee also displays supernatural physical abilities related to her vampire nature, including super strength.
In Episode 4, she demonstrates this ability by pushing a sofa with her foot while confronting Elijah. The scene shows that she has enough strength to move the furniture easily during the confrontation.
Bat Transformation
As a vampire, Vee can transform into a bat. She uses this ability several times throughout the series.
In Episode 1, Vee first uses this ability when she arrives at Sophie’s bedroom while still in her bat form.
Healing
Vee has healing abilities, allowing her to recover from injuries and restore parts of her body.
In Episode 5, when Moriah brings the Bubble Tea cups, Vee picks up the silver cup, causing her fingers to begin burning. While Elijah distracts Irma, Vee passes her other hand over her fingers and uses her healing power on them.
In Episode 11, Vee asks Sophie if something is wrong with her fangs. Sophie confirms that there is a large gap where one of them should be. Vee then passes her hand over the area and uses her healing power to make the fang grow back.
Dream Travel
Vee can also enter other people’s dreams. According to Vee herself, this is a highly advanced ability.
In Episode 8, after Pedroso releases the gas, Elijah falls asleep and becomes trapped in a nightmare. Vee enters the nightmare to help him wake up.
This ability allows Vee to enter another person’s dream world and interact with them while they are asleep.
Positive Energy Absorption
In Episode 16, Vee demonstrates the ability to absorb positive energy.
During the opening performance of Millie Eilish, Vee is singing when she manages to absorb the positive energy from the audience.
This ability shows Vee putting into practice what Lucien taught her about absorbing conflict energy, but in a different way. While Lucien uses this knowledge to absorb negative energy, Vee does the opposite and absorbs positive energy during the performance.
Vampire Vision
Vee possesses vampire vision, allowing her to see beings that may not be easily noticed under normal circumstances.
In Season 2, Episode 4, Vee uses her vampire vision to see the trolls who were causing trouble at Wilson Hall. The scene demonstrates that her supernatural vision can help her identify creatures in certain situations.
Bat Wings
Vee can also manifest bat wings, allowing her to fly and move through the air.
Her wings had already appeared in Season 1, during a moment when Vee’s powers were out of control. However, the wings were smaller during this first appearance.
In Season 2, Episode 6, Vee demonstrates this ability again, this time using her larger bat wings. She even uses her ability to fly to save Britney from the zombies.
This shows an evolution in the manifestation of this power: the wings initially appeared during a surge of Vee’s powers and were later used more deliberately in a practical situation.
